This story is about a mouse that's named Amos. He likes the sea. He likes the waves, smell and color. One day he made a boat to see what is on the other side of the sea. Then the mouse fell in the sea. Then a whale named Boris came and took the mouse to the other side of the sea. But the whale got stuck in the sand and the mouse was too little to push it. So the mouse found two elephants to push the whale. And the whale waved goodbye to him and they started to cry.
I think this story is a good story because it is adventurous. When the mouse was fighting the waves his boat went up and down. I liked the mouse because he was sweet. I didn't like the part when the whale said, "How can that little mouse ever help me?" At the end the mouse saved his life. This story reminds me of me because I met a boy that is Jewish and he said hi to me and I said "Will you like to be my friend?"
The story has a lesson and the lesson is even if you are little you can still help a big person. I think this story is a good story and I recommend this book to kids ages ten and up.
