Mr. Putter and Tabby lived next door to Mrs. Teaberry. One day, Mrs. Teaberry slipped on a kiwi and hurt her foot! No more walking her "lollypup" (as she calls him) Zeke for a week. Mr. Putter volunteered to walk Zeke. Mr.Putter and Tabby found out that Zeke wasn't a lollypup. Instead, Zeke was a nightmare! I liked this book a lot. I liked Mr. Putter because he reminded me of my granddaddy. My granddaddy loved to walk my dog, and he had a pet cat named Pussy. One of my favorite parts of the book was when Zeke changed his behavior. He was misbehaving, but when Mr. Putter gave Zeke that ice cream, Zeke changed and behaved better. It reminded me of the time my dog Nacho wrapped me around a stop sign pole. I wish I had had some ice cream like Mr. Putter to make Nacho stop misbehaving. One of the funniest parts of the book was when Mr. Putter and some dogs had a "Zeke's Gone" party to celebrate when Zeke left. I laughed out loud when I read that. I recommend this story to people age six through eighty because this book is hilarious! All my friends would love it because they will think it is pretty cool and funny. All my relatives would love it; even my parents would love it! A good part for Uncle Big and Aunt Marsha is when the dogs bark. A good part for my granddaddy is when Mr. Putter has to walk Zeke. I think all of my family would think of my granddaddy and our dogs when they read the book.
