This book is about a girl named Sheila Tubman. She is scared to go swimming because she doesn?t want to put her face in the water. She keeps telling her mom that she doesn?t want to learn to swim, but her mom makes her. Does Sheila conquer her fears? Read the book to find out more.
I thought this was a great book. My favorite part was when Sheila had a sleepover. It was very funny because they were throwing pillows around. Sheila reminds me of my baby sister because she doesn?t like to swim. I liked the illustrations, but they were only black and white.
I would recommend this book because it is very interesting and entertaining. People who enjoy Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing and other Judy Blum books would love this one.
