James and the Giant Peach is about a little boy whose parents died when he was about four years old. He was sad when he heard that his parents were eaten by an enormous, angry rhinoceros. He had to go live with his two mean aunts who treated James very badly. Their names were Aunt Sponge who was fat and really short and Aunt Spiker who was bony and tall. But one day James drops some magic crystals by the old peach tree and then??
There was a lesson in the book. The lesson was that if you give kindness you will receive kindness. The book had very few pictures. They were black and white.
