The phone rang. Kristy picked it up. And it was Mrs. Newton. She needed a sister. She also had a baby but all the girls wanted to baby sit the baby. So then they got in a big fight and called each other names. But a while later Mary Anne gave Sorry notes. They were still fighting a long time. Then, they got back together and became friends again.
My connection to this book is that my friends and I get into tiny fights sometimes but then we get back together and we start to be nice to each other. Sometimes, it is hard and we say we are sorry and forgive each other. Eventually, we get back to being friends and we have fun! My favorite part of the book is when the girls say they are sorry and forgive each other. It makes me feel good. It shows that you can be mean to a friend but then you realize it and make it right.
I recommend this book to people who love to read the Baby Sitters Club books. To babysit and having a hard time getting along with friends is just part of life.
