Charlie is a poor boy who lives with his parents, and his four grandparents. One day a man by the name of Mr. Willy Wonka decides to open his chocolate factory to the public! This factory is not only the best, but no one has been inside or even seen Mr. Wonka for ten years! But, in order to go, they have to find one of only five golden tickets inside one of Wonka's chocolate bars, the tickets could be in any chocolate bar in the world! Charlie has only one hope to find one of the tickets, the chocolate bar he gets for his birthday. Can he find a golden ticket? Why don't you read Charlie and the Chocolate Factory to find out.
I have three different opinions about the book. I think the book is very suspenseful. My favorite part was when Charlie found a dollar to buy a chocolate bar. I liked that part because it made me very excited. Charlie changed from being poor and living in a two-room house to owning the chocolate factory and living there. I liked Violet because she was kind of funny and was very demanding.
I recommend this book because it is a book that you won't want to put down. A person who likes to read about food and likes Roald Dahl books will like this book. I think the personality of the characters will interest all readers because the author made each one of them very different.
